$7,600-8,000 of disposable income? Consider studying abroad...

Many students dream of studying abroad. It seems like the quintessential university experience. Jetsetting around to famous sights in romantic sounding cities all over the globe. Well let me ask you something, does anything sound more picturesque and memorable than a study abroad in Paris?

It is difficult to imagine a better setting than Paris for a braod study of music, art, literature, dance, and well, French. The concert halls, the museums, and libraries of Paris collect and present the finest works Western culture has produced, from past centuries down to present day. Students will come to understand these works better through direct experience: by attending productions at Comedie Francaise, and Opera national de Paris, by experiencing cutting-edge electonic music concerts at IRCA, and through visiting the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, and Pompidou Center, to say nothing of the incredible historic sights and architecture of the city.

I am currently in several classes with professors who have been in charge of the study abroads at different times. The pictures they show from the experience to bring their subject material to life are simply amazing. Especially the ones in France. I've always thought it would be spectacular to be part of that close-knit group who shares so many awesome experience abroad together and actually be in the pictures that will be shown in lectures for years to come.

This upcoming study abroad is for Winter Semester, so there's no time to delay. The approximate dates of the study are from the 18th of January all the way to the 18th of April 2010. The approximate costs are in the title, and though it may sound a bit steep, this includes tuition for the semester and living. The only thing not covered by this fee is airfare, personal expenses like souvenirs, and meals on excursions.

***You have to have completed French 101 before departure***

Many interesting classes will be available during the study abroad. Some are in the regular course catalogue and some are only available in Paris.
