Paris, Je t'aime
Nostalgic for Paris? Never been to Paris?
No matter your familiarity with the city of light, come and get your French fix at the International Cinema.
Paris, Je t’aime is a collaboration of short films, each showcasing one of the Parisian arrondissements.
Each of the shorts was directed, written, and filmed separately and differently – which can make the film seem disjointed. However, the simplicity of the transitions embraces that – these are separate stories only linked by a common location and a common theme.
Love.
Some show romantic love, some show a rediscovery of love, some show love for a child, some show falling in love with the city itself.
Each and every one of the short films is entertaining, but some are more successful than others in conveying their message.
Everyone has a different experience and perception of the city and Paris, Je t’aime includes many – the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly.
