Dear Readers,As the semester wanes and as the priority registration for most students has now arrived, we decided that it would be advantageous to many current and prospective french students, intent on continuing their french studies, to have an idea of what they are in for. The requirements for a French major require five courses among a choice of nine classes (10 with business french), and two culture classes from a lineup of three. Which to choose? Sometimes it can feel like a crap shoot, but with this effort, we'd like to help each other have a better idea of what classes to sign up for. Please comment on this post telling us what your favorite 300 or 400 level class has been and why.
