Are you one of those people who have always heard about older siblings or friends going off for a year to a foreign country and teaching English to school children there, and wondered how you could get in on that action? If so, and if you are reading this blog because you are interested in French culture, guess what? Tomorrow is your day!
An information meeting will be held tomorrow, Thursday the 8th of October, at 2:00 in 257 HRCB for those who want to learn more about teaching English in France for Fall and Winter semesters 2010-11. The meeting will feature a former program facilitator who will be sharing his experiences with the program and will surely make you want to put your life on hold and hit the open road.
The program is very well established and offers those who participate in it a fantastic experience which includes:
--A completed international internship to enhance your resume
--The opportunity to improve your French through immersion
--Classes offered through BYU to earn credit, allowing you to avoid falling behind
--Paid work, letting you earn money while living abroad
--An authentic experience with French cuisine
--A French city to live in
Could you even ask for more? If so, ask all your questions tomorrow. Don’t forget!
Much Love,
-Pete
