What can I do with a BA in French?

Come find out at this honored alumi lecture!

Aaron Sherinian serves as the Executive Director / Vice President of Communications and Public Relations at the United Nations Foundation. He leads the Foundation’s public relations efforts, media relationships, strategic outreach, and online presence.

Mr. Sherinian graduated from BYU in Italian and Political Science. (Yes, not French, but still in our department so we'll forgive him.) He speaks Spanish, French, and Italian and worked as a Foreign Service Officer, press attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Ecuador, and in various other impressive government and diplomatic positions. On his way up, he also worked as a marketing consultant for Italian distributors of Apple Computers and as a writer and interpreter in Italy.

So many great career ideas from one man!(Who started out with a degree in a very similar field to you, French Majors and potential French Majors! Food for thought.)
