Daft Punk: 19 years of House Music

I'm always surprised when I find out an artist I really like is French.  When I found out that Daft Punk was French, I was pretty much floored.  I had no clue France could produce such good house music.  Then again, I would find out later that most good house music comes out of France.

Since forming in 1993, Daft Punk has produced 3 albums, 2 live albums, 17 singles, 9 remixes, 1 soundtrack, and much much more.  I've been a huge fan of their album Discovery ever since I saw them appear in a Gap commercial forever ago.

One of the most epic music videos that I ever seen was made by Daft Punk in December 2003.  The video was called Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem and it lasted 68 minutes, covering all of the groups music from Discovery

I lost my connection with Daft Punk after high school.  I didn't really think about them, and only heard their music everyone in a while.  It wasn't until Disney announced that they would be making a sequel to Tron and that Daft Punk would be composing the soundtrack, that I got back in touch with the group.  For me that film was awesome, and the music was a great example of Daft Punk's talents.

Does anyone else have a favorite Daft Punk moment?
