Understanding the Arab Spring: Rachad Bouhlal

Last spring the Arab world was caught up in a violent revolution.  It was an amazing experience to see the people of so many different countries rise up against their governments and try to set up new leadership.  There were countless casualties in these events, but the sacrifices of those people have changed the Arab world.

This Thursday, February 23rd, the new ambassador for the United States from Morocco will be visiting BYU.  He will be giving a lecture entitled "Understanding the Arab Spring: Morocco's Perspective".  This will be a great chance to get an inside understanding of the momentous events last spring.
