Coin de Feu avec Elder Caussé

The feeling of this fireside was quite casual and intimate as Elder Caussé introduced himself and spoke personally to the Francophone community of Utah. Elder Caussé and his wife both delivered lovely talks, sharing personal stories like the challenges and joys they faced when he was first called as a Member of the Seventy. Sister Caussé gave some inspiring remarks: If we decide to be happy we can be happy no matter where we are, and Joy comes from service. Do we take all the opportunities we are presented with to serve? Elder Caussé tried to convey that General Authorities are just normal people, which he didn't realize before he was one. He bore a beautiful testimony and spoke about the growth of the church in Europe and vaguely addressed the progress of the plans for the temple in France. (About which we are all anxiously awaiting and hoping for a formal announcement from President Monson).
The BYU French Department was well represented with several professors and their families and many BYU students.
It was a great turnout and was so pleasant to be surrounded by everyone speaking French!
