Yesterday I received an email in my inbox. It said the following:
Dear Peter,
This of course, is me, Peter Kern.
We are happy to tell you that we loved your performance and that you have been selected to participate in Star Academie!
At this point you must be wondering what my performance was that they loved SO much...lets just say, you'll love it too.
As a reminder, the event is on November 11th in the Varsity Theater. GOT THAT??? NOVEMBER 11th in the VARSITY THEATRE!! Be there or be square. You should prepare two sketchs: one for the sketch competition, and one for the grand finale. Remember: the winners of each category (song, dance and sketch) win $25. The grand winner gets an extra prize worth $50 for a total of $75. At this point you're probably wondering which competition I am competing in, well you'll just have to come and see for yourself (OK, it's sketch)
Please respond to this email by Wednesday 5pm to let us know that you want to participate. If we don’t receive an answer by that time, we will just assume that you don’t want to do it, and we will give your spot to the next person on the list. Yea, this part is more for me than it is for you.
