Dear Readers,
That's right, it's that time of year again. The French club pioneered the talent search format. Long before there was BYU Idol, long before there was Mr. BYU, there was Star Academie...and now you get to be a part of it.
Star Academie is a three fold competition. Music, Dance and Comedy. To my knowledge, you do not HAVE to compete in all three, to compete in any events at all. An individual winner in each category will be awarded a $25 gift certificate to Amazon.com, and the overall winner will be selected from the three winners and will have to perform again. This person will receive a $50 gift certificate.
The whisperings around the department is that the French club officers are already cooking up something pretty good, which is to say nothing for the actual competitors. It's gonna be good.
