International Cinema this week--Eyes Without a Face

In celebration of this Halloween this year, the International Cinema is showing some awesome, sometimes classic, horror films. Next week will be a week of Japanese horror films, followed by a week of vampire flicks, but the whole celebration is getting kicked off with a lineup of Psycho, the Alfred Hitchcock, and a classic 1960, black and white French Film called "Eyes Without a Face".
SYNOPSIS
A plastic surgeon becomes obsessed with fixing his daughter’s face after it is terribly disfigured in a car accident. He concocts a plan to kidnap girls, remove their faces and graft them to his daughter’s. This is a compelling tale that may disgust with its macabre imagery, yet simultaneously mesmerize with its beauty; a seething story of tender love, fashioned by extreme guilt. The doctor is a masterpiece of mad scientist villainy: unlike most, he is placed within reality making his motivations believable and therefore the horror all the more fascinating.
The showtimes are as follows:
Tues-9:45, Wed-7:45, Fri-5:00, Sat-3:15, 9:30
All showings are free and are shown in room 250 SWKT.
We'll see you there.
Much Love,
Pete
