The BYU French Club is excited to announce their next activity which is a Foire Francophone (French-speaking Culture Fair). This event will take place Wednesday, 12 November @ 6:30pm in the Wilkinson Center Garden Court.
There will be booths representing 14 different French-speaking areas. These areas include:
Provence
Corsica
Romania
Switzerland
Louisiana
Réunion/Mauritius
Alsace/Lorrain
Haiti
Bréton
Québec
Tahiti
Belgium
New Caledonia
For each of these areas a representative will display a flag of the area along with some cultural music and a sample of the local cuisine. This will be a wonderful opportunity for all French Studies students to better understand the francophone world. Along with these booths there will be a Café parisien serving hot chocolat and croissants.
